Associate Veterinarian
Hi! I'm Dr. Natalia Rodas. I graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2011 and completed my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2018. Since graduating, I have worked at two different veterinary hospitals before arriving at Harrisburg Animal Hospital in September 2021.
I am a proud member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and North Carolina Veterinary Medical Association (NCVMA).
Favorite Part of my Job
What I love most about my job is the opportunity to strengthen the human-animal bond through my work. Whether it’s diagnosing a complex case or performing dental procedures, each day brings new challenges and rewards that deepen my commitment to veterinary medicine.
Why I chose this profession
Having been raised around various animals most of my life, I have always understood and appreciated the beauty of the human-animal bond. As a veterinarian, I am privileged to help protect and nurture this bond. My special interests include dentistry, which I am actively developing, and clinical pathology.
Personal Hobbies & Interests
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, dancing, hiking, and foraging for culinary mushrooms. These activities allow me to explore new places, stay active, and connect with nature, providing a perfect balance to my professional life.
